| Job Description: |
Respond to medical emergencies, fire alarms and other emergency calls in order to provide advanced life support and emergency medical services; operate and maintain a variety of rescue and fire apparatus and firefighting
equipment; and participate in firefighting activities, technical rescue, fire prevention and training activities. |
| Job Requirements: |
Must be 18 years of age or older; must have high school diploma or GED; must possess valid Nebraska driver's license; must possess valid, current, national EMT-P certification. Prior field experience unnecessary if passed exam for National Registry certification within last six months. Must submit with application copies of: birth certificate; high school diploma or GED; appropriate or applicable current National Registry EMT-P certification; DD-214 (member 4) military discharge
form, if applicable. Post-offer/pre-employment physical and drug screen. 35 mile residency requirement within nine months from date of hire. |
